I will post the classroom code in their Google Classrooms. Scope Magazine is more geared toward ELA but my social studies students are more than welcome to access it as well. They have many interesting articles and stories. I am happy to assist you in your educational needs any way I can. Feel free to contact me through the Remind App or through my email. I try to check both on a regular basis.

6^th Grade ELA: We were scheduled to read Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. This is a favorite among my former students. Check it out on one of the free websites I have listed on the Educational Websites link. 

6^th Grade social studies:  We were investigating the rise and fall of ancient Chinese dynasties and their achievements. The next topic scheduled was on the West African Empires: Ghana, Mali, and Songhai. Our last unit is on the Middle Ages and the factors that brought about change and shifted Europe into the Renaissance.
