Education

Educational History:

Raised in Ragley, I attended South Beauregard Elementary and graduated from South Beauregard High School- Class of 1999.

I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Louisiana College in Pineville. I certified in Science in Special Education.

A few years later I attended McNeese State University and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.

Most recently, I was certified by the National Institute for School Leadership (NISL) program through the Louisiana Department of Education’s Prinicipal Fellowship.

Current Position:

I have been blessed to be the Principal of South Beauregard Upper Elementary since 2015.

Previous Position:

I starting teaching in 2004 at South Beauregard High School. I taught Junior High Sciences and Biology.

From 2012 to 2015 I served as Assistant Principal of Beauregard Parish’s new school: South Beauregard Upper Elementary… I had no idea how much I would love administration and the 4th, 5th and 6th grade.
