Educational History:

I graduated from Sam Houston High School in 2003. Then attended McNeese State University to study Early Childhood Education. I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science certified to teach Pre-K through 5th grade. In 2019, I obtained my Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar State University. Education and learning are my passion, so I am currently working toward a Mentor Certification as well. I will complete the program in December of 2020.

Current Position:

 I began my career as a Kindergarten teacher at Fairview Elementary in Lake Charles, LA in January of 2008. I taught Kindergarten one more year, then moved to First Grade for three years. I moved to second grade for only two months, then moved to South Beauregard Upper Elementary as a Special Education Teacher. In the 2012-2013 school year, I moved to 5th grade Math and did a few years of Science as well. In 2019, I moved to 4th grade ELA.

SOUTH BEAURGEARD UPPER ELEMENTARY (September 2012-Present)
